Last Time at Sanctuary: 6/10/17
Description: Although Storm was only a part of Sanctuary for 14 years her impact has left an indelible mark on the community. While she never held any position at Sanctuary she was a three-time Great Race champion as well as the only dog allowed to venture into the place beyond the shed alone. Her courage and bravery has been proven time and time again as she, famously, was the first to find the golden tennis ball before losing it on a trail to a couple of cats and a wild boar they had wrangled. It has been said that once all our days are counted Storm will sit atop the highest points of the Great Oak.

I cocked my head to the side again, and at this point I was getting rather tired of doing this, “You weren’t accepted by the Oak?”  Hojan shook his head, “None of them can even find it. Dog Profile: Opal

Name: Opal Breed: Dalmatian First time at Sanctuary: 3/3/16 Description: You wouldn’t be able to tell by looking at her, but Opal is a relatively new addition to Sanctuary. Being voted into the council in the past 5 years her calming presence was immediately felt and soon she became a moderator between the big and small dogs. She helped solve many debates, including the famous ‘Who’s ball is it anyway’ debate between Charles and Bubba.

Chapter Nine: Cracks

We walked through the door to find Hojan, the Sentinel, and another dog  I did not recognize at first. “She said they can’t do anything for you.”  The dog whom I did not recognize said, “She’s sorry but the wolves have spoken and she can do no more. You’ll have to go to the Dark Coast, you’ll have to find the seer.” Hojan puffed out his chest and took a deep breath before the Sentinel placed her hand on his head, “It’s ok,” the Sentinel sweetly said, “We don’t want to push our luck on the topic.” She patted Hojan a little bit harder, as if to warn him before she continued, “We’re thankful for all the help you and Rad have given us.” The brown dog nodded her head before turning around, “Storm?
